Momona Noodle + Bao

At Momona, we value cooking good food however you can and we aim to support our local community with our mixed and inclusive space. The name ``Momona`` came from Mahina's older brother and their family - it means ``satiated, well-fed, satisfied, fat, fertile``. We all love the idea of ``momona`` because it evokes being content, happy, and full. We, as a team, live to eat and be happy.

Our inspiration comes from the Asia-Pacific region and is a representation of our mixed-ness. It's shared memories - from saimin at Zippy's to ramen ticket machines in Shibuya to night markets in Taipei. Momona is our personal view of, and relationship with noodle, bao, and other foods from these regions.

We are not traditional anything, but genuinely represent each part of all of our traditions. Momona is a mixed family, an ode to what we love most, the chefs who inspire us most, the parts of the world that melt our hearts, and the moments we've felt most ``momona.``

We value a relaxed, positive environment and prioritize your personal time in every moment. We want to give Chico quality food in a casual atmosphere and provide our community with a new, different, and absolutely delicious place to share a meal.
